We will start to look at plants with Mrs Spedding over this term and next. This will include looking at the parts of plants and what their role is in the general growth and survival of the plant. We will also identify common plants, including trees and focus on what they need to grow and be healthy. We will explore pollination and dispersal too. We will look at how animals, including humans, grow and how they change over time. This will include life cycles of different animals and we will compare them to humans. We will look at animals that hatch from eggs, those born from inside their parents. We will also concentrate on the human life cycle and how the body changes and functions at each stage.
