Literacy

Our topic for Autumn 2 is 'Festivals and Celebrations' including lots of exciting stories and writing activities. We will be reading stories such as 'Magic Paintbrush', 'Gingerbread Man', 'Bonfire Night' and 'Kipper's Birthday' , to name just a few.  

RWInc - Read, Write, Inc is the phonics scheme that we follow and this half term the children will revise set 1 sounds and begin to bring home sound blending books and ditties.
