In this inspiring art unit, we will explore how artists use their work to express powerful messages and inspire change. Through studying graffiti, murals, and the art of protest, the children learn that creativity can be a voice for justice, equality, and hope. They experiment with bold colours, textures, and techniques to create their own expressive artworks — showing that art can challenge, inspire, and truly make our voices heard.

Classroom Jazz 2

In this unit, pupils listen to and appraise jazz pieces, learn to play tunes/heads, and develop improvisation skills. They gradually move from learning set pieces to composing their own, with each lesson ending in a short performance or sharing opportunity.
